Services


Being a doula is my passion and my goal is to empower laboring people and help them feel more in control during a time that can sometimes feel overwhelming and unknown. If you are in need of a doula, but feel you can't afford my services, please reach out so that we can discuss your options. You deserve a doula!

I offer a free consultation to discuss my services and listen to your needs. During this meeting, you are able to decide if I'd be a good fit for your birth experience. No matter which package you choose, I will always offer you compassionate and judgment-free support.

DURING PREGNANCY
Once hired, I will offer continual email and phone support to answer any questions you might have.
Each prenatal meeting is about 1.5 hours long and we will discuss your birth plan/birth plan assistance, relaxation techniques, optimal positioning during labor, basic childbirth education, and an introduction to my comfort tools. We will also discuss any other topic that is important to you. I am also available to accompany you to one prenatal visit with your provider so that we can meet, I can provide you with support and help you understand your visit if you have any questions. I will consider myself to be on call for you between 38-42 weeks of pregnancy.

DURING LABOR
I will deliver continuous in-person support where I will provide you with emotional support, hands-on techniques to help you cope, and guidance on how to improve baby's position and your comfort. Although I am unable to make decisions for you, you can always count on my informational support.
The dynamic between me and your partner is whatever works best for you. I am comfortable being the primary support person, sharing the job with your partner, or just being present and providing them guidance on how best to support you.
During labor you will have access to my comfort tools.

POSTPARTUM
The immediate support I provide postpartum is about two hours long and includes feeding assistance, tidying up your birth space, and making sure you and baby are resting comfortably.
I also include a two hour in-home postpartum visit where we will discuss your labor experience to help you process. I will also provide you with some light housework, meal prep, and basic sibling/pet care. At this visit, your comfort is my priority!

Full Doula Care
