Being a doula is my passion and my goal is to empower laboring people and help them feel more in control during a time that can sometimes feel overwhelming and unknown. I value my work and take pride in who I am and what I stand for as a doula. I consider myself more than just a person you hire. I am a guide, a trusted care partner, and a fountain of knowledge.

I offer a free consultation to discuss my services and listen to your needs. During this meeting, we can decide if we'd be a good fit for each other. No matter which package you choose, I will always offer you compassionate and judgment-free support.
DURING PREGNANCY
Once hired, I will offer continual email and phone support to answer any questions you might have.
Each prenatal meeting is about 2 hours long and we will go over relaxation techniques, optimal positioning during labor, basic childbirth education, comfort tools, and discuss and create your birth plan. Sessions take place in Yorktown. An in-home nesting session is also included to help you prepare your baby's space. Tasks include furniture assembly, laundry, feeding prep, and discussing postpartum support.
DURING LABOR
I will deliver in-person support where I will provide you with emotional support, hands-on techniques to help you cope, and guidance on how to improve baby's position and your comfort. Although I am unable to make decisions for you, you can always count on my informational support.
The dynamic between me and your partner is whatever works best for you. I am comfortable being the primary support person, sharing the job with your partner, or just being present and providing them guidance on how best to support you.
During labor, you will have access to my comfort tools.
POSTPARTUM
The immediate support I provide postpartum is about two hours long and includes feeding assistance, tidying up your birth space, and making sure you and baby are resting comfortably.
I also include a two-hour in-home postpartum visit where we will discuss your labor experience to help you process. I will also provide you with some light housework, meal prep, and basic sibling/pet care. At this visit, your comfort is my priority!

Rebozo Relaxation SessionPregnancy is a time of many changes, including physical ones that tend to leave you feeling achy and uncomfortable. I offer physical comfort and relaxation using a Mexican rebozo. During this 45-minute session, I will maneuver and stretch your body using the rebozo and provide light massage to help you feel relaxed.
Available for clients and non-clients. |
